“STITCHERS’ GARDEN” –
SHARE THE JOY OF SEWING WITH OUR FEET
For owners of any brand sewing machine, this class teaches you how to make a gorgeous bed-size quilt using accessories you may already own. (You know — all those strange little gizmos you have with your machine!) This is not only for embroidery machines.
The quilt features machine appliqué and different feet or tools used in each block. There will be optional design files for four machine appliqué blocks in the last months.
Learn how to use pin tuck and fringe feet, chenille and candlewicking feet, twin needles and bobbin work, and lots more. There are twelve blocks and we will present two each month, beginning in February. This is a beautiful heirloom quilt project that’s informative as well!
The cost of the fabric kit and patterns is $145 when paid in advance, or you can make two $80 payments, one when you sign up, and in one in May. We will schedule a separate optional class in September to assemble the quilt top.
Option 1: When you buy the kit you can attend a free demo the first Saturday of each month after Saturday Sampler, at 10:45am
Option 2: Or, you can buy the kit and attend 6 hands-on classes for $90 more (that’s only $15 per class). Classes will be held the 2nd Friday of each month, 10:30-1pm
Option 3: Block of the month patterns only, with demos, $75

We’ll do a useful project each month designed to teach you something interesting that you can do with your versatile Viking. Enjoy “Show ‘n’ Tell” and get inspiration from your classmates. Teachers will be Sandy and other staff members.January 22, February 26, March 26, April 23, May 28, etc., 2-4:30pm
VIKING EMBROIDERY SOFTWARE CLUB
You can do incredible things with your embroidery software, but it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and settle for doing just a few simple things. Mary Tencza, Sandy and Bob Boyd are here to help. The topics cover>ed will be different from those presented in previous sessions. $45 for the two sessions
